Astons Specialities...

  

Few days ago, I was waiting for my flight back to Jakarta at Terminal 1, Changi Airport. Since it was dinner time, we were looking for a place to dine and after wandering around, our choice came to Astons Specialities. It was written that Astons serves quality Western cuisine at affordable price. Astons has their branches spread all around Singapore, divided into 3 different categories: Astons Prime, Astons Specialities, and Astons Express.

 The restaurant was quite packed at that time, but it didn't take too long for us to be seated.

The menu consists of several a la western food sections like chicken, steaks & chops, pastas, and others.

 Pork Chops (SGD 10,50)

I like the pork chops, it was grilled perfectly, no porky smell. It came with two side dishes, I picked tasty rice & onion rings. The tasty rice was nice, the onion rings was good.Overall, I love this dish, from the portion to the taste. Yum!

Grill Fish with Herbs (SGD 8,50)

This one was my friend's choice, a grilled dory, it also came with two side dishes, she picked mashed potatoes and onion rings. About the fish, too bad it was bitter, I dunno if the bitterness came from the herb or what.

 Overall, I think the food here does worth the price. Maybe you could just skip the Grill Fish with Herbs and try their other menu.
