GYOZA BAR - Tribeca Park, Central Park Mall

Central Park adalah salah satu mall yang paling sering saya kunjungi. Karena lumayan sering mondar-mandir di mall ini, saya cukup ngeh ketika ada toko ataupun restoran baru yang dibuka. Beberapa bulan lalu, saya sempat melihat bahwa sebuah restoran bernama GYOZA BAR akan segera dibuka di Tribeca Park, dan ternyata sekarang tempat ini sudah dibuka. Jadilah saya mampir ke tempat ini beberapa hari lalu. Jadi apakah tempat ini hanya menyediakan gyoza seperti namanya? Yuk kita lihat seperti apa tempatnya, dan makanan minuman apa saja yang bisa kita temukan di tempat ini.

Porkey Dokey Japanese Cuisine at TONTOKI, Sudirman

Sudah cukup lama saudara saya merekomendasikan TONTOKI, sebuah restoran Jepang yang terletak di basement gedung Mid Plaza 1, Sudirman. Exquisite Japanese Cuisine at OKU - Hotel Indonesia Kempinski

OKU is a modern Japanese restaurant, located inside Hotel Kempinski Indonesia. This modern Japanese restaurant is helmed by Chef Kazumasa Yazawa who was was Executive Chef at the Japanese restaurant Izy Dining Restaurant & Bar in Singapore. I had an opportunity to visit this place last weekend. So how was my OKU dining experience went on?

JAPAN TRIP: DAY 13 & 14 Osaka Shopping Heaven - Shinsaibashi Suji & Dotonbori

I spent the last two days of my Japan trip around Namba area, to be more specific, Shinsaibashi Shopping Street and Dotonbori. If you are a shopaholic, you would go crazy for this spot. Those lines of stores and restaurants will make you go back and forth along the road and alleys. You will also meet hundreds of neon lights and mechanized signs of restaurants those will attract your eyes.

JAPAN TRIP: DAY 12 Fushimi Inari Taisha & Ichiran Ramen (Kyoto)

It was Sunday and we woke up a little bit late. Our first destination that day was Fushimi Inari-Taisha (Shrine), you might have seen the pictures of this place a lot. A place with rows of orange torii gates. From our guesthouse we walked to Kiyomizu-Gojo Station for a train ride straight to Fushimi-Inari Station.

JAPAN TRIP: DAY 10 Kyoto - Kiyomizu Dera, Nishiki Market, Tsujiri Honten, Gion

Finally day 10! Getting closer to the end of the trip. Well, I should be finishing these Japan trip series soon. It has been almost a year, geez, time really goes by so quickly. So, early morning on the tenth day, I arrived at Kyoto. The arrival location was in front of the Centnovum Hotel, and from there, we decided to walk to our guesthouse which wasn't so close, but anyway, it was still early in the morning, so just count it as a morning exercise - a 30 minutes guided with Google Maps walking while carrying our 29" luggage.

JAPAN TRIP: DAY 9 Fujiko · F · Fujio Museum & Yanaka Ginza

Let's head to Kawasaki and visit our childhood friend, Doraemon! From Tokyo you need to get aboard the Odakyu Line train from Shinjuku Station towards Odawara and stop at Noborito Station. From Noborito Station, you could ride the shuttle bus to Fujiko · F · Fujio Museum, or if you want to walk, it would be closer to stop at Mukougaoka Yuen Station.

YAMATOTEN ABURA SOBA New Outlet and New Menus at Grand Indonesia

Nampaknya sudah cukup banyak restoran serta dessert cafe di daerah PIK yang sukses dan membuka outlet-outlet barunya di mal-mal besar seperti Grand Indonesia. YAMATOTEN ABURA SOBA yang juga sukses dengan outlet pertamanya di PIK, baru saja membuka outlet ke-2 di East Mall Grand Indonesia (dekat dengan ranch market). What's boiling inside? JAPAN TRIP: DAY 5 Sensoji, Meiji Shrine, Yoyogi Park, Harajuku

 Almost 6 months after the trip and finally I'm writing about the fifth day (better than nothing at all still). Jadi di hari  ke-5 ini yang kebetulan jatuh di hari Minggu, kami bangun agak siang dan mengarah ke daerah Asakusa.

JAPAN TRIP: DAY 4 Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Shibuya, Tokyo Tower, Shinjuku

Akhirnya sampai juga di Tokyo! Saya menginap di daerah Shin-Okubo, yang berjarak 1 station dari Shinjuku Station (Willer Bus Arrival Terminal). Wilayah Shin-Okubo merupakan Korean Town-nya Tokyo, jadi banyak sekali orang Korea, restoran, serta toko-toko Korea di sekitar sini. Kami sampai cukup pagi, dan setelah numpang mandi karena memang belum waktunya check in, kamipun memutuskan untuk jalan-jalan dulu seharian baru malamnya kami akan kembali untuk check in. Tujuan pertama kami adalah Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, sebuah taman besar di daerah Shinjuku dan Shibuya.

Japanese Yakiniku Dining Experience at GYU-KAKU PRIME

Seringkali ketika sedang mondar-mandir di Plaza Indonesia, saya melihat keberadaan restoran bernama GYU-KAKU dan cukup penasaran dengan tempat ini. Belum kesampaian mampir ke GYU-KAKU di Plaza Indonesia, beberapa waktu lalu saya sempat mampir ke GYU-KAKU PRIME yang berada di Pacific Place. GYU-KAKU PRIME di tempat ini baru saja reopening setelah sempat tutup selama 2 tahun.  GYU-KAKU  adalah sebuah chain restoran Japanese BBQ yang berasal dari Jepang dan memiliki cabang di banyak negara seperti USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapura, Malaysia, Filipina, juga Indonesia.

Value Lunch Menu from ITACHO SUSHI

Beberapa bulan lalu, saya sudah pernah membahas tentang outlet pertama ITACHO SUSHI yang ada di Grand Indonesia. Baru-baru ini, ITACHO SUSHI mengeluarkan Value Lunch Menu baru yang dapat dinikmati setiap hari Senin-Kamis jam 11 siang sampai dengan jam 5 sore, kecuali hari libur.
