I do like char kway teow, laksa, and some others Malaysian food, but to eat it everyday, I give up. So this time, I decided to eat Nando's at Gurney Plaza (I think you could find Nando's in almost all of the malls in Malaysia). Nando's specialises in flame-grilled peri-peri chicken. What's peri-peri? Peri-Peri is the Swahili word for the African Bird's Eye chilli, a chilli indigenous to Africa (credit to wikipedia).

There were also a few bottles of sauce on the table, from garlic to extra hot peri-peri in case u need extra taste.

So, my mom & my aunt ordered a plate of salad to share, since Caesar Salad was out of stock, they ordered the Portugese Salad. I forgot the price, it was around 13-15RM.

For me, I ordered the chicken dish, since I was curious about it. I ordered the 1/4 chicken meal with 2 sidelines (15.90 RM). For the sauce, I picked 'hot' one, as for the sidelines, I picked chips with peri-peri spice & grilled vegetables.

Overall, I like Nando's.
Hi NiyaOke,
BalasHapusBom Dia & warmest greetings from Nando's Malaysia!
Thank you for the nice post about us (you'd even wikipedia-ed us), we are glad that you like us =]
Maybe you will want to try ordering Extra Hot Peri-Peri chicken the next time you drop by. Trust us, it is very much spicier than the Extra Hot Peri-Peri bottle sauce on the table. This is because the basting we used to flame-grilled the chicken is actually of a different recipe. So, do you dare to take up the challenge?!
Hope to see you again soon & have a great weekend!
Peri Regards,
