Manhattan Fish Market

So, I've been willing to try this seafood place, Manhattan Fish Market - Grand Indonesia since last year. My friend said, it is better than that similar restaurant F&C :p A few weeks ago, I went to Central Park, and just realized that Manhattan Fish Market has opened there. Today, I took a day off, and planned to have lunch at Happy Day with abang, but unfortunately the weather changed my mind, instead, we went to Central Park.

I thought...Where should we have lunch? Then, Manhattan Fish Market crossed my mind, so we stopped there for some seafood :)

About the place, interior-nya dominated with red bricks & wood, sedikit bernuansa fish market (kayak pernah ke fish market aje...)

What's on the menu?
Yah seputar ikan2an & kawan2nya lah. Like F&C.

What did we order?
Si Abang ordered Soup of The Day, Mushroom Soup (Light-14K++)
He added salt, and it turned out to be a bit too salty for me, but nice for him.
Overall it was good.

For main course, I ordered Manhattan Seafood Platter for Two (179K++)
When the waiter came, he held the pan and sprayed fire onto the shrimps.

The platter consisted of : Dory, Calamari, Mussels (All Fried), Grilled Shrimp+Mayo, Garlic Rice, French Fries, Corn, Broccoli, Carrot.

And our opinion about the platter : our favorite was the rice (no kidding, we really love it), the second one might be the calamari, as the dory, we like F&C's better, but it was still good, the shrimps actually were okay, but the mayo was too sweet and too much, and we were not really into the mussels (though they were fried, masih berasa amisnya), and I wished for more vegetables (after eating those whole fried stuffs those contained lotsa cholesterol).

Though the portion was quite big, we were able to finish it, all of it. Yeah, I'm such a big eater.
Overall, we spent around 250K for this lunch (we had mineral water for beverage, each 10K).
Anyway, as we ordered, the waiter told us there's a promo for this sharing menu, CMIIW : 1 platter for 2+2 soup+2 drinks (juice or something, I forgot)+desserts will cost you around 290K after tax, go try for it if you're interested, since I thought I would be to full to have another soup, sweet drink, & dessert, I didn't take the promo :)
