I'm totally not a coffee person but most of my friends are coffee connoisseurs. It was one warm Saturday afternoon when they decided to visit the new 'it' coffee shop called Tanamera, located nearby Thamrin City. A small coffee shop it is, with only a few tables and seats, it's totally not a place for a large number of people to gather around.
The ambience is nice and cozy regardless of the small space, and I love the fact that it is a non smoking space, thank God!
They use local coffee beans, roasted, brewed at this place. If you come here, you might see that huge coffee roasting machine inside the room.
You could see some of the coffee variants they sell above, some are not yet written on the menu. Other than that, they have juice, tea, and chocolate.
Coffe Latte - IDR30,000
My friend said the coffee latte was good and kinda strong. I don't know much about coffee, but she said a true coffee lover would love their coffee.
Hot Chocolate - IDR 35,000
Yes, this was mine. Their Hot Chocolate was lovely, not too sweet as a plus point. I did enjoy every sip without having to feel 'eneg' like how I used to feel most of the time I''m having my hot chocolate.
To accompany your precious coffee time, there are selections of cakes and sandwiches to choose, from Oreo Cheesecake to Mango Mousse. My friend chose their well known Banana Cake.
Banana Cake - IDR 27,000
A piece of their Banana Cake, topped with caramel and almonds were served on the table.
The Banana Cake was nice, not my favorite though.
Overall, I like this place. If you love coffee so much, do visit this place, you could also chat a lot about coffee with the baristas.
