Q Smokehouse...

I've read about Q Smokehouse several times, most were good reviews, but I wasn't really curious about it, until I started a new hobby weeks ago, hunting for discount vouchers! Haha, emak-emak banget deh, so everyday, I browse through websites like disdus, ogahrugi, etc. I haven't use the first voucher I bought, let's save it for next review. So, I was looking for an interesting promo, and I found this Q Smokehouse-Setiabudi One promo. With IDR 50.000 nett you could pick one of this packages : Reuben Sandwich/Brisket Sandwich/Chix Sandwic + Affogato/Ice Cream + Latte/Cappucino or Loco Moco/Spaghetti Bolognaise/Cheese Burger + Affogato/Ice Cream + Thai Iced Tea/Flavoured Tea, quite worth it eh? I bought 2 vouchers, for me and abang, and so we went there yesterday.

The vouchers could be used every day, starting from 2 PM, so the plan was, movie first at 12.45 then late lunch, buuuuuuut abang was linglung because of his hunger, he bought tickets for 3PM show, gubrak! So, we had lunch, then wait two hours for the movie, after that, finally the Q Smokehouse. Located on the GF of Setiabudi One (very easy to find since Setiabudi One is a small place), the place wasn't too big, dominated with wooden furniture, but quite comfy.


We sat and show the waitress our printed online vouchers, she handed them to her friend, and he gave us the promo menu. I picked Loco Moco + Affogato + Thai Iced Tea, and for abang, Reuben Sandwich + Chocolate Ice Cream + Cappucino.

Anyway, they gave us plain paper as table mat, and my itchy hand felt like doodling there while waiting :p

We waited patiently, then our drinks came, my Thai Iced Tea (19K) in quite a big glass, and abang's Cappucino (25K) in a cup. I asked him, why did you order cappucino instead of latte, you know the difference? He answered, nope, I just knew that people usually said cappucino cappucino...Haiyaaah, sotoy la abang :))

And so, abang's main course came, the Reuben Sandwich (42K). Yummy yum, the toasts was oat bread, inside was brisket slices with melted mozarella, the meat was tender and yummy, the french fries was also tasty, salad was fresh, overall the portion was generous and fulfilling.

And below, mine, the Loco Moco (59K), I've read that Loco Moco is a hawaiian dishes. It was a plate of fried rice with two beef patties, fried egg, and salad. Me likey the fried rice, yum yum. The portion was also quite fulfilling.

And the dinner haven't stop there, it was time for desserts! Mine was affogato (25K), so they gave me two scopes of vanilla ice cream and a little cup of coffee, so affogato was ice cream + coffee, I thought that small cup of coffee worth 10K, why, because it was stated on the menu, that the basic ice cream like abang's worth 15K.

Overall, we were satisfied with our dinner, of course because of the vouchers! You saw the prices I mentioned? Those were the real prices of the menus we ordered, and we only spent 2x50K nett for all of these stuffs, no more tax, no more service. Super worth it! Let's hunt for more great value vouchers ;)
